Course Summary :

 AIM:
To enable the student to safely extinguish a small fire. Qualifies for 3.5 hours Drivers CPC points:

OBJECTIVES:
The student will be able to:-
  • Understand and recognise the hazards posed by small fires.
  • Implement the correct emergency procedure.
  • Select the appropriate extinguisher and operate it correctly.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Introduction.
  • Lecture:- Subjects Covered
  • Extinguishers.
  • Fire Blankets.
  • Basic First Aid (Burns).
  • When and How To Fight A Fire.
  • Door Opening Procedure.
  • Identifying Fire Hazards.
  • Fire Legislation.

3.  Outdoor Practical Session:- Students Extinguishing Fires.
