Course Summary :    

Aims to provide better theoretical and practical understanding of the importance of soil cultivatability, organic matter, depth of cultivation and wetness of soil and crop responses in potatoes.  Through avoiding damaging soils by untimely and excessive cultivation, growers will improve soil stability, improve cultivatability, reduce energy consumption, increase the efficiency of N use by the crop and minimise losses of N to the environment.
